OCEAN CITY, Md.— Beer. Beach. Blues.

The Jellyfish Festival is set to bring all this and more right to the sand in downtown Ocean City this Labor Day weekend, day and night, Sept. 4 and 5.

Headliner Anthony Gomes will be bringing the blues to the beachfront music festival, as a standout guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, while acclaimed folk rockers in the Derek Woods Band and reggae tunes in Ted Bowne of Passafire also lead the list of artists headed to the beach.

Gomes heads the Billboard Blues chart, according to the festival, personally touting his new record "Containment Blues."

Professional Freestyle Motocross rider Jeff Griffin performs at the inaugural Jellyfish Festival in Ocean City, Maryland.

"The Toronto-born guitar slinger stands his ground as a creative artist and is eager to push the Blues back into the mainstream," Jellyfish Festival posted

Scheduled performances are also slated to include Ray Wroten, Skribe, Troll Tribe Rockaholics, Crosstown Walkers, Never Ending Fall and more. Additional details on the typically blocks-large spread are expected in the coming days, the festival posted June 24.

"The Jellyfish Festival is all about good times and sunshine on the sand," the festival writes on its website for the 2021 weekend. "With craft brews, regional and local live music, Jellyfish surf contest, a corn hole tournament, ultimate Frisbee tournament, fat tire beach bike riding, tentacle vendor village with arts and crafts, and so much more, we are family friendly."

The weekend of events marks just the second for the beachfront music festival, as 2020 saw the lineup canceled due to COVID-19 safety concerns.

The Phantom Limbs perform on the beach stage at the inaugural Jellyfish Festival in Ocean City, Maryland. The Jellyfish Festival was a three-day sports and music festival that took place from June 21-23, 2019.

The festival is set to feature craft beer from over a dozen breweries "up and down the Shore," as well as across Maryland, alongside many vendors.

Whether grabbing a sample or ordering a pint, according to their website, organizers hope to see "your feet in the sand and a cold craft beer in your hand while you listen to live music."
